The trend in modern high performance shortboards is towards more curve under the back foot for critical surfing in the pocket. We felt the need to develop a fin for this board rocker. We wanted a bit more base, more rake and a narrower tip than our longtime thruster template. The idea with the base and rake, is more drag and bite when diving deep into turns and maintaining drive through tight radius turns.
